First and foremost, my heartfelt gratitude goes to Mr. Nganyu Dominic Nformi, who, in additions of being my techer accepted to surpevise this work. I am immensely grateful for his constant availability, encouragements ans useful criticisms. May he find in this work, my deep and sincere recognition.
Secondly, I am grateful to all my teachers from primary school up to the university, especially to the teaching staff of the Department of English-Kirundi, in the Institute for Applied Pedagogy of the University of Burundi for their contribution to the intellectual and social skils imparted to me.
