This work aims at examining cases of racial prejudices in Alex La Guma's A Walk in the Night. In the course of the study, we try to examine the relationship between the non-whites and Whites as perceived by the author trough his characters.
We equally try to explore some of the consequences of his racial injustice in the novel.
We try to show how the violence observes in the text is a result of this ill.
This analysis carries out in this work clearly shows that the practice of discrimination of one group of people leads to violence.
It also reveals that the non-whites of South Africa adopt inhuman behavior in response to the Whites' brutality. This study intends to prove that a country ruled on racial injustice is always characterized by criminality and poverty.
