Considering the fact that performance is the main goal that every learner of a foreign language wants to achieve, it is therefore important to study and account for how learner's attitude plays an important role either positively or negatively in order to achieve performance depending upon the environment within the learner is living. This has made us to attempt the effect of attitude on performance because a positive attitude leads to good performance whereas the negative one leads to poor performance.

In fact, attitudes take birth in the individual social linguistic behavior since the learner is predisposed towards the subject and the motivation to learn the subject is empowered by the personalty of the teachers and diffèrent methods they use when conveying their message.

Moreover, three schools in the commune of Rumonge have been chosen among others because these schools lodge the Art Section which is well complete and 30 students out of 150 have been chosen on the basis of the rondom sampling technique and have been taken part in our reseach. All questions admnistered to the informants are grouped into three types of questionnaire as well as the teachers' questionnaire. The data got from the questionnaire admnistered to students reveals that students' attitude is positive thanks to the teachers' methods used to convey their English lessons. Finally, this work is ended by different recommandation to different categories of people in order to give back information to the policy makers and open this topic to different future reseachers.
