Résumé,
Burundi is a member of the East African community and other organizations where English is used by a big number of people either as second language or foreign language. Many Burundian Radio stations have implemented different English programmes to improve the English teaching process.
The main purpose of this work understudy entitled "Contribution of Radio Scolaire Ngeragakura's greetings by radio programme to the English speaking skill in secondary school" was to find out if it contributes to the English speaking skill in secondary school and if the time allocated to the programme is sufficient.
The results from the research confirmed the hypotheses because the majority of the respondents supports the hypotheses raised by the researcher. The latter gave a set of recommendations among which, the Ministry of Primary and Secondary Education should privide the necessary funds to equip radio stations for their English programmes, Radio scolaire Nderagakura should be revitalised by restructuring and planning within a total and dynamic framework and the students should know that apart from what they are taughts in classes, there are other English learning systems.
