RESUME,
This work entitled "Memory work in Trauma in Tennessee Williams' a sTREETEAR named Disire "shows how past experiences cause trauma as depicted in Tenesse williams' A streetear Named Desire. This work is built on the hypothetical contention that williams ' heroine suffers from trauma as a result of unpleasant memories .This work employs psychoanalysis and new historicism in order to anderstand both the period and psychology of the individual in that particular period. The study ends with the conclusion that the experience of Williams' heroide is true to life because our contemporary socety is characterized by similar character types.
