Résumé,
This work aims at examining the role and influence that women exert on men as depicted in T.M. Aluko in one Man. One wife. The study tries to debunk the idea that men are more powerful than women by showing that women have other means of gaining what they need from men. Our study therefore explores women's beauty and sexual prowess as they interact with male counterpart. This is done not only by considering the manifestation of sexual relations bur it consequences especially as affecting men. The study is therefore carried out against the hypothetical thrust that some of the challenges that are witnessed in family and society as seen in T.M. Aluko in his novel One Man. One Wife are the result of men's uncontrolled sexual appeals. Our study therefore serves as an appeal to those who indulge in indiscriminate sexual relations especially out of the family limits.
