RESUME
This work deals with the words and expressions used in the jargon of the secondary school pupils at NDAVA-RYANSORO Communal Lycée. It analyzes the linguistic mechanisms used by those pupils to create new words and expressions in their specific language.
Observation and questionnaire are the major instruments which have been used to collect the data. The major findings proved the existence of a jargon at NDAVA-RYANSORO Communal Lycée. The words and expressions that are used in their jargon are unintelligible to any person who is not a pupil at NDAVA-RYANSORO Communal Lycée. The meaning is not connotational ; it is denotational. It is necessary for other researchers to go deeply into that school to carry out research in this sphere since words and expressions are being created as time progresses.
